Florida Association for the Gifted

FLAG Conferences and Regional Meetings
  • FLAG features national and local speakers with a focus on issues of concern for educators and parents of students who are gifted at our annual conference
  • We support regional conferences for teachers, parents, administrators and other school personnel to aid in the understanding of gifted education and students who are gifted
  • In addition, FLAG collaborates with the Florida Department of Education in sponsoring the annual Workshop for Teachers New to Gifted

The Florida Association for the Gifted provides three student scholarships/awards and two teacher awards annually.  Funds are raised through private donations and an Auction at the annual conference.
